Here are a few photograhs of Highpoint Shopping Centre, located in Melbourne's Nortthern suburbs.

I found the roof of this structure to be quite interesting, as its structural elements have not been hidden due to it being made of glass, in an attempt to accomodate for natural light. A construction detail which i found interesting was the connection of the lower arches to the supports which are extruding from the sides. I found this interesting because it is not clear to me how this works structurally, and also, it has resulted in something which looks quite "sculptural", as the extruding supports form a regular pattern, and are covered in plaster.
